Additional Resources
Why doesn't the VOTE411 logo include ".org" to make clear that it's a website?
When we were creating the new logo, we went through extensive research on similar product logos, user testing, and revisions. All determined that having the “.org” in the logo itself was unnecessary. LWV owns the .org, .com, and .net domains for VOTE411, and just searching for VOTE411 online brings up several pages of links to our resource.
The official VOTE411 logo does not include ".org," and adding that to a graphic or logo would break our brand standards and could hurt our trademark for the brand. If you are using the logo in a graphic (not referencing VOTE411 in a written piece), we strongly recommend using the logo version with the tagline. This helps explain that it’s a website to people who are just seeing a yard sign. You might also consider including the QR code, which will help people get to the site online.
