Legislative Office Hours
The League is proud to open our virtual offices and listen to/support states legislative work. These office hours will be hosted every second and fourth Thursday of every month, from 3-4pm EST. This will also be a space for League members to be in community with one another. We will have breakout rooms for members to speak amongst themselves on topics of their choosing.

What are office hours?
The LWVUS advocacy team is proud to open our virtual offices to support your legislative work. These meetings are an opportunity for Leagues and League members to address advocacy, legislative or policy issues directly with a member of the LWVUS Advocacy staff. These office hours will be hosted on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month, from 3-4pm EST. Here are some areas you may be interested in bringing to the discussion:
- Questions about federal legislation
- Advice on League positions
- Consultation on state legislation
- Concerns about supporting or opposing actions/legislation
- Community with other League members working on advocacy efforts
