Overview
The League of Women Voters was founded on the principle that people should play a role in our democracy. As a grassroots organization that empowers voters and defends democracy through advocacy, education, and ligation at the local, state, and national levels, we know every community across the country looks and comes together differently.
To ensure we can accomplish our mission while respecting each League's capacity and addressing the unique organizing challenges in our communities, the League of Women Voters US is equipping local and state Leagues across the country with our very own LWV-branded digital relational organizing platform called League In Action, powered by OutreachCircle.
Ready to Get Started?
Step One
Use the OutreachCircle Starter kit to create a free OutreachCircle account for your League. When you have an account created for your League, please email the LWVUS organizing team at [email protected] with your account name to upgrade your account.
- An account upgrade takes two to three business days.
- Avoid using abbreviations in your account name to make it easier for supporters to find.
Step Two
Register for an upcoming OutreachCircle / League In Action Admin Training. The biweekly admin training sessions aim to provide all new administrators with a technical understanding and familiarity with the platform.
Attendees will review League-tested incorporation and supporter recruitment strategies that maximize current LWV programs. Although not required, admins are encouraged to attend as many trainings as they prefer. Each training is customized based on the attendee's expertise and questions. Anyone involved in strategizing and creating OutreachCircle should attend a training at least once.

Step Three
We understand everyone incorporates technology at a different pace; we encourage your League to join us for upcoming live support opportunities or schedule an individual meeting with an LWV organizer.
As always, contact the LWVUS organizing team at [email protected] if you have any questions or contact your League’s assigned regional organizer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
My League already has a League In Action account for our state/local League. How can I become an admin for our account? Should we use the same admin login information?
If your League already has an account, a fellow admin must invite you to become an admin under the settings section on OutreachCircle. An admin can log in by going to https://client.outreachcircle.com/. Each admin should have their own admin account to avoid confusion.
Can League In Action be accessed via desktop?
No, League In Action is an LWV app-branded experience. If you want to follow your League and take action while using a desktop, please use outreachcircle.com.
What's the difference between OutreachCircle and League In Action?
League In Action app uses OutreachCircle technology. League In Action is an enhanced LWV experience where supporters can only follow other League accounts.
If you are already an OutreachCircle user and would like an LWV supporter experience, simply download League In Action in your app store and log in with the same login information you used for OutreachCircle.
