To request a table in the Wares Market, please read this information and complete the online application form located at the bottom of this page. Direct any questions about the Wares Market to [email protected].
The LWVUS provides a designated area at Convention for a limited number of tables for Leagues wishing to exhibit and/or sell their wares to Convention attendees. In the spirit of our hybrid Convention Leagues will also have the choice of submitting information to a virtual Wares Market.
Applications will be accepted until May 6, 2024. You will be contacted by email about the status of your request by May 13.
Physical Wares Market
- The Wares Market will be centrally located to the registration and plenary area.
- One 6-foot table and two chairs will be provided at no charge to the requesting League. Additional furniture or equipment may be requested. We will notify you of their availability and if there is any cost involved in renting them.
- Tables in the market are for the display and sales of wares only. Please note that hotel rules prohibit the sale or distribution of food or beverages.
- No security will be provided. Leagues assigned tables in the Wares Market are responsible for safeguarding their items at all times, including when the market is not open, and storage overnight.
- Leagues are responsible for all shipping/delivery charges of their wares to the hotel.
- Upon acceptance of your application, you will be sent additional information on the days and times that the Wares Market will be open, shipment instructions, and applicable local sales tax information.
Virtual Wares Market
- Leagues will be asked to submit a link to an existing page on their website or online vendor and a brief description of items for sale.
- LWVUS is not responsible for any transactions that occur or communications between buyers and sellers.
